No material is truly maintenance-free. In fact, every material will last longer with a minimum amount of care. Selected for their durability, the materials we use give our products an average service life that far exceeds that of the landscaped environments in which they are installed. Just a few simple steps are all it takes to preserve their appearance and performance, both easily and cost-effectively: applying a coat of wood saturator, touching up paint where scratches have exposed the metal, or using a cleaning and passivating gel on stainless steel. Discover how these small maintenance tasks can make a big difference.

Cleaning stainless steel once or twice a year is sufficient to preserve its original appearance and performance. This removes deposits that may dull or attack the surface, such as vehicle exhaust residues, de-icing salts or sea spray in coastal environments.
Stainless steel may also become contaminated through contact with ferrous metals (such as bicycle pedals or pushchairs), resulting in tiny rust marks. These can easily be removed using a non-corrosive cleaning product that removes rust, cleans and passivates the stainless steel in a single application.
Based on our experience, we highly recommend INNOSHINE B570 (Stainless Steel Rust Remover) and INNOCARE 580 (Stainless Steel Protector) for their proven effectiveness.

The timber* used in our street furniture is protected with a wood saturator. This water-repellent finish preserves the timber's natural appearance while nourishing it deeply and protecting it against moisture.
Over time, exposure to UV rays and the weather gradually reduces this protection. The timber will then develop a natural silver-grey patina. This is not deterioration but a normal ageing process with no effect on its performance.
If you wish to maintain the timber's original appearance, simply apply a fresh coat of a non-film-forming wood saturator. If the timber has already started to grey, it should first be treated with a wood brightener/restorer. Owatrol products (such as Dilunett and Net-Trol) are widely recognised for their quality.
